Max has struck out on his own in life and is in pursuit of taking control over a large coven that he wants to lead. But to do this he has to over throw a certain Raven Blue. He heard she was dangerous but that isn't stopping him.
What he didn't encounter happening was confronting a certain lord from the underworld that also wants the coven and everything else. The battle is on when his two lovers are kidnapped. What he also didn't plan in the chaos was finding real love and being made to feel what it is like to not only fall in love but also to feel what it is like to lose love.
