Under post 9/11 homeland security, the United States was supposed to feel more secure. But what if those who wield the power have an agenda of their own? Rev. Lester claims to receive messages from God. Angel is a rock star who has been cheered and ridiculed to the point of persecution because of his own claims to hear the voice of God. Lester proclaims that God has demanded a New Crusade, first against Islam and second, against the Godless leaders of the Untied States. One man steps up to lead this New Crusade, and with that, the evil is unleashed. A secret army begins training in a remote location, and begins to wreak havoc. Angel, meanwhile, is planning a comeback. His life has been in danger, and now things have escalated to the point of possible fanatical attack at every turn. The scariest part about this book is that it could very well happen. Jones reaches out to the world through his books, with a message of tolerance and understanding, and with a very exciting, relevant, and intriguing story. There is no need to have read the first two books in this series but there will be an absolute desire to do so.
