The Crystal Skull

In 1895 a crystal skull is discovered in the jungles of Peru. 100 years later the skull is on exhibit in Phoenix, Arizona when a struggling Benjamin Goldman finds himself irresistibly drawn to a mystical power; to the degree that he spends hours sitting before the skull wondering about its magical powers. Then one day he discovers a young woman who apparently is drawn to the same display. These two people, who have no apparent mutual interests, now find themselves involved in events that eventually bind them together. Is this bonding for the good or is it for evil?
