The crystal ball glowed with strange images and faces…with visions that no one could see except young Coby. If she was born with the gift of extrasensory perception, or received its magical powers only when holding the tiny sphere, or if there was any significance to the flaw in the glass that caused it to shine like a star—no one knew. Even Coby was at a loss to explain her precious talent.

Nor did she understand how the crystal ball's fragmented images were slowly falling into a disturbingly familiar pattern…how objects, people and places were recurring in a sequence too terrifying to believe. Until suddenly Coby saw herself trapped in a spiraling scheme of blackmail, kidnapping and murder!
