About This Book

A simple tale set in a fictitious council during the first few months of 1991. It centres on a senior architect about to retire who wants to change the endemic nepotism present in his department before he goes. Together with two councillor friends he underhandedly appoints two architects against the wishes of his vindictive boss. The two new architects are from very different backgrounds: one is a London-based architect with South African Ndbele heritage, and the other is an architect returning home to his roots. The two appointments lead to disastrous results. Contains strong sexual content, mental health issues and language which may offend some readers.
