Old School—The year is 1984, and eight year Slim is growing up fast. His mother, Brenda, becomes hooked on heroine by way of a jealous and abusive boyfriend, Franklin Pettite. Slim is unaware of his mother's habit because she hides it from him by keeping up her loving ways toward her son. When Franklin isn't able to control Brenda and walks in on her with another man, he beats her so badly that she has to be hospitalized. Franklin realizes his mistake when Lucky and Luscious, Slim's uncle, pay him a visit. The two up and coming no-nonsense gangsters show the man what happens to someone who touches their family. They kill Franklin, and his sister, Laurette, vows to avenge her brother's death. It is hell to pay for all that stands in her way.



New School—Antwan is still holding the crew down while Slim does his bid. Lucky is home and recovering from his poisoning. Reese is freed from prison at just the right time, as the new crew in the city is getting stronger and making two power moves that will catapult them into major player status in the game. In the middle of it is Roland, who realizes that the love of his life, Sierra, is the cousin of the for real gangster, Big Reese, a captain in the soon to be rival crew.
