The Contract

Joe Donovan is the police chief and football coach in Boswell, California. Boswell is a small town outside of Los Angeles that very few people know about. Its crime rate was low until Melanie Breiden moved there. Melanie Breiden moved to Boswell to be closer to her family and to find a husband and start a family of her own. She accepted a position at Boswell High School as the chemistry teacher. She was asked to coach the cheerleaders and she agreed based on a few stipulations: the parents and cheerleaders needed to sign a contract stating that the cheerleaders would not drink alcohol, smoke, or engage in pre-marital sex. Sally Swenk did not sign the contract so her daughter, Stephanie, was kicked off the cheerleading squad. Sally began to take things personally and plotted to hurt Melanie. When Sally purchased a hand gun, could Chief Donovan save Melanie's life?
