When award-winning photojournalist Emily Foxworth invites Nancy, George, and Hannah to visit San Francisco, they look forward to a picture-perfect holiday in the city by the bay.

But the vacation goes sour when Emily becomes the victim of organized crime. She is robbed, threatened, and finally kidnapped by a couple of muscle-bound thugs!

Nancy must uncover the connection between Emily's latest photo assignment and a local gathering of big-time hoods. Her investigation leads her to Emily's darkroom, where a picture of innocence turns into a portrait of evil!
