About This Book

This book is based on a true story. An executive in a large company is found murdered early one morning in his office. One of two night guards of a large New York building is a suspect, as he punched a clock on the murdered man’s floor at the estimated time of the murder. A manager of the company is eventually arrested on what looked like sufficient evidence that he was the murderer. Detective Glassman (previously involved in the books Lilo and Gestapo in New York, both published by PublishAmerica) is assigned to the case. There are a number of wrong tracks, but diligence leads to an unexpected arrest. The trial is covered in great detail, as are the liberations of the jury.
