It begins quietly enough with the "accidental" death of a social worker and the mysterious disappearance of a thirteen-year-old girl. No one could have suspected that both these events were far from accidental, or that within the body of the innocent-seeming child lurked a coldly calculating killer. Nor could anyone have predicted or prevented the devastating reign of terror that was about to sweep London.
