The Chapel

John T. Barrett gets his initiation into combat in Vietnam while on a secret mission that brings new technology to the battlefield. While on this assignment he gets involved in a site called The Chapel on The River. After Vietnam he enters the investment world in New York with Goldman Sachs and later goes to Houston to work for a private equity firm. He encounters many opportunities - gold mines and rare earth minerals that catapult him into development of new weapons and brings great wealth at the same time. He and his wife soon encounter foreign governments, cartels and many dangerous and exciting challenges along the way. The book is gripping and full of many twists and turns.
