The widow Electra Talmage is leaving Abilene to return to her peaceful homestead near Coffeyville. Dr. Aileen Bloom agrees to accompany her there, and they're joined on the journey by Deputy Cody Fisher, who is taking a prisoner to Arkansas. When some rough customers stop their train--not for a robbery, but to find a doctor for someone named "Junior." The gang forces Aileen to Coke Ralston's ranch, where she discovers that "Junior" is a prize bull. But even the arrogant cattle baron isn't ready for the firestorm that's about to kick up.
