Children's picture book series book 2. Detective Duck Dillon quacks the case of the Painters's missing pet named Colors last seen at the his studio before the painter took a nap. Other characters are Mary Mural and her pet Splatter, Whitey MG, Tree People: Tippi, Terri, Tomato, Tini, TearDrop. The book has a unique style: colorful, unusually characters (Pepe's body is an easel, Mary's body is a mural, etc.). There is some humor. In this particular book is a bit of French w/translation using dialog to learn a bit of French. There is some humor. It teaches some primitive concepts of primary color and one mixing. Finally, the illustrations, like all DD books, is mostly hand drawn, imported to the computer, and manipulated to build characters, objects, and play them in stage-like environments. Characters always face forward as if on the stage. Characters in DD books build relationships with each other. This one in particular illustrates forgiveness.
