Pretty young Janet Frazier just didn't stand a chance when fate dealt her the cards in a game of love. What should have been a restful trip to the Hawaiian Islands to supervise an art show suddenly became a romantic nightmare. An overzealous hotel publicity manager and a mix-up in names hustled Janet into a wedding of convenience with Scott Frazier, a handsome, and thoroughly exasperating, up-and-coming lawyer. Then, as if this farce of a marriage wasn't bad enough, someone seemed determined to frighten Janet away from the islands, or to take her life.
