When a young couple's engagement party ends in tragedy, the caterer, Sasha "Echo" Folio, is suspect because the groom-to-be was her former boyfriend. The deaths were from food poisoning. January Flannel becomes the accidental sleuth who tries to clear her friend's name, all the while under her own stress from someone trying to do her in.
