A childhood darkened by poverty has made Toria determined to work hard at building a career that will insure she never again has to go without. All her drive, has left no room in her life for love.

Neal has terrible dreams and leftover PTSD from his time at war. His ex-wife convinced him that only a monster could have lived through what he did and not be insane.

They individually accept an invitation from Luther to his remote cabin. Each arrived thinking they will have few days of solitude. When Toria and Neal met their attraction is too powerful to ignore, but after a night of lovemaking, is the cabin's magic strong enough to keep them from going their separate ways?
