11-year-old Simon Avery loves three things, in this order:Horror movies, science and horror movies. Just to be clear, he likes horror movies. Simon's staying with his grandmother in the outskirts of London, England, while his scientist dad is away on assignment. While exploring the attic, Simon comes across a trunk filled with some of his dad's old experiments. It isn't long before would-be monster maker Simon messes with the chemicals and accidentally transforms himself into an enormous, creepy creature! Can Simon find a way to return himself to normal, before the townspeople destroy him?
