The rainwater had developed a curious consistency; instead of running away it seemed to cling to whatever it touched. Then a man died and his corpse was found in what appeared to be a plastic coating. His discoverer was Commander Shaw, late of Naval Intelligence, now an operator for an outfit called 6D2.
