Daisy Johnson has spunk—and she proves it by traveling alone across the country to start a new life. She quickly lands a waitress job at a café owned by a handsome, aloof boss. Things begin to go her way, but something is sorely missing—a man to share her it all with. Knowing a few Mail Order Brides, Daisy decides to become one herself. She ignores her growing affection for her boss and begins correspondence with a mystery man. In no time, she finds herself enamored by his honesty, good humor, and loyalty. In the meantime, a cut-throat businessman arrives in Lawton City with the sole purpose of putting Daisy's boss out of business. He hides his real character well and begins to court Daisy.
