The Boy Who Wanted a Family

More than anything in the world, Michael wants a family all his own. It isn't easy being shuffled from one foster home to another all the time: in fact. Michael is so used to moving around, he always keeps his suitcase packed!

When his social worker takes him to meet Miss Graham, Michael is happily surprised, not only because Miss Graham wants to adopt hire. but because she is different from any "mom" Michael has ever known. Miss Graham keeps a Christmas tree up all year, and she works at home because she writes for a living. Michael's a little worried because Miss Graham isn't married, and he'd like to have a family with a father, too. After a while he's sure he wants to stay. But the adoption won't be final for a whole year. Will Miss Graham change her mind?
