About This Book

Rolf K. Franz has seen a poster that has changed his life. A bullied schoolboy living in World War One-era Dresden, he wants to contribute to Germany's war effort as his father has done. Minister of Propaganda Klaus Seigfiend gives the boy his chance through The Bomb Riders' Corps, a group of children which is exactly what it sounds like. Rolf K. becomes the Corps' inaugural volunteer and is treated to rallies and receptions and parades. But of course the mission he will undertake to the gray streets of London is a one-way trip -- a fact that would destroy any mother. Seigfiend's Corps becomes the toast of the Rhineland and the source of the Kaiser's greatest pride -- but the Emperor has his eye on a much bigger target for Seigfiend's infamous Bomb Riders than merely London.
