Business has been slow for Faith Fairchild, so when her friend Patsy Avery proposes that she take over the café at the local Ganley Art Museum, it seems like a wonderful opportunity -- for catering and crime-solving. The priceless piece Patsy lent the museum has been switched with a fake, and she wants Faith to find the culprit.

Faith is soon tangled in the Ganley's murky past and present. Between the faux fine art, some Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, and a mysterious corpse that turns up as an unintended part of an art installation, she's got her hands full. Things aren't any easier at home where her son, Ben, now in the hell known as middle school, becomes involved in cyberbullying, and her husband, Tom, wants his wife to morph into June Cleaver.

She's at her wit's end! But it'll be a dead end if she can't stop the killer from striking again and again.
