About This Book

T.J. Jordan hires Gillian, an event planner, to pull off a spectacular product-launch gala for the perfume, Tangy Juice, at the NY Waldorf, with an operating budget of $112K. Which is where Gillian meets venture capitalist Stephan Sciara. Neither Gillian nor Stephan, nor even T.J., for that matter, think to watch out for industrial espionage, nor can they imagine that the perfume thief might be out to steal more than the precious formula to market in Burma.
Guillermo, member of an East L.A. gang since he was a teenager, is sent to New York to wreak havoc for Gillian, the event planner, who had the nerve to marry into the Gomez family without getting permission from Grandma Gomez, the clan matriarch.
"Works for me," says Guillermo upon receiving his marching orders. The gang's plans dovetail with his own scheme. "I'll be happy to whack Gillian or Stephan, either one or both. T.J., too. Then I'm going after the guy who dumped me."
Meanwhile, if only she could persuade Grandma Gomez to accept her into the family, Gillian thinks she'd be happy. Getting her new hubby interested in sex would be keen, too. She only thinks she has big problems, until Robby's cronies come after her to retrieve the missing package that Roberto stole from the Hotheads, Guillermo's gang.
