Political speechwriter Spencer Kelton is hired to spin the scandal-ridden campaign of Senate-hopeful Larson Dunhill. The latest controversy: Dunhill is accused of building a nudist camp on sacred Indian burial grounds. Then more scandal when his wife shoots herself in the head with a spear gun. The next day Dunhill is seen happily water skiing with a fifteen-year-old cheerleader.Kelton finds evidence that Dunhill's own staff members are sabotaging his campaign.
