About This Book

As Sandy Tabor and his partner, Tomas Trujillo, rode out of the main gate of Fort Concho in San Angela, Texas, Sandy waved goodbye to his sweetheart, Molly Simms. He planned to return as soon as this job was finished and work to be able to support her in the way she had been raised. Molly wanted to marry Sandy and promised to be true to him and wait for his return. Sandy had no idea of where this job was and what it would entail. All Tomas would tell him was"The Big Bend." Trouble plagued them most of the way there - winter storms, drunken soldiers and bad men with big guns, just to mention a few. The job turns out to be very easy to do, but extremely hard to keep once they have it in their hands. As the trail takes these two cowboys from the Big Bend to New York City and back to San Antonio, killers, bad lawyers and other unsavory elements challenge them every step of the way. Tomas had made a promise to his grandfather(now gone). But keeping that promise makes it very difficult for the two men to complete this job. Will they be able to do both?
