Another charming romance featuring members of the Rainwood family with Grandma Mirabel playing an active part. The post for which she recommends Antonia will bring this hitherto rather luckless grandchild into close company with Pierre Valais, her godson, as well as her new charge, the orphaned boy Philippe.
