Presented with her dream career Alison Andrews packs her bags and heads for Fenton Insane Asylum in the mountains of West Virginia. The charge of restoring the historical building to a resort for paranormal enthusiasts is no less exciting for Alison than the idea of daily inte-raction with her new site manager, Caleb Spencerâ€"heir to Spencer Historical Resorts and her high school love. Trying to remain professional proves harder than Alison expects as Caleb wastes no time letting her know he too has been looking forward to their reunion. While balancing her emotions and Caleb’s flirtations, Alison begins experiencing strange happenings at home and the asylum. The more she tries to deny the truth, the more that is revealed to her until even her dreams are haunted. Enlisting the help of paranormal researchers and local historians, Caleb learns that legends may be more than mere stories and that the connection between Alison and her new surroundings seems to be as deeply bonded as their romance and its ties to the sins of those who came a century before them.
