The Beginning of the Legend

He had spoken so often of the diamond sword. Well, not just the diamond sword, but The Diamond Sword-the stuff of legends. Crafted from the finest diamonds and enchanted with the most mystic of magic, sealed away from the curious eyes of mankind in a dungeon so deadly that none would dare cross the entrance. But he was different...he often spoke of acquiring it, and it was not because he had coveted the sword out of vanity and pride, but because the voices in his head-in his dreams-would tell him to do so, because if not, all of mankind would pay... with their lives.
