The Baby Bridesmaid

A mini-series of four titles aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls on the theme of bridesmaids – a role that every little girl longs to play! THE BABY BRIDESMAID

Ella's bridesmaid's role is usurped by her baby sister Gemma who dresses up and steals the show at her auntie's West Indian wedding in Notting Hill.

When the photographs are to be taken, no-one can fine Ella's baby sister. Then the floats start to parade and who should be the fairy queen – Ella's sister of course, in starring role!

About the author

Diane Redmond is a prolific author, television scriptwriter and playwright. Among her first children's books were Fireman Sam titles for Heinemann.She has written several plays for the Polka Theatre Company; the young football series Come on You Reds! for Transworld, Young Corgi; Animal Sanctuary for MacDonald; Stage School for Hodder. Her latest commission from Random House is to write four picture book texts for the new animated film of Watership Down. She lives in Cambridge with her family and two dogs.
