short story, Fiction, Mike Blanch is on his way to work, when he decides to take 301 instead if I-4, as the news cast told him that an eighteen wheeler had smashed into several smaller cars on I-4. And blocked the north going traffic. Driving down 301, I noticed a woman lying on the road, stopping to see if he can help, Mike is at gun point removed from his car. Later this morning, Mike's boss tells him that a guy phoned and told them that the car is returned, cleaned and filled with gas.
Checking the car, Mike finds the keys under the floor mat, together with five hundred dollars, and a not that told him the reason for this car-jacking. The note was signed Cedric Drake. Finding this Cedric through the phone book, Mike drives his car to this Cedric's address. Getting to like this Cedric, he asks why they had been to 301 without a car, and with such a nice house, what are the Drake's doing for a living. Cedric explains why, and how they happened to be in the situation they were in, and at the same time tells Mike that the guilty person, a Bruce Landly will have to hide well, or die. Mike is the following weekend together with Cedric introduced to Cedric's company. There he is told that the person in charge of the cleaning was the person responsible for Cedric's sisters head injury. Now they have to find a new cleaner, and Cedric finds Salvador, that agrees to take care of the old cleaner. When doing this, he by mistake shoots the old cleaners brother instead. The old cleaner Bruce Landly accepts the duel, and the two assassins meets at a forest area outside the town. The two assassins meet, and as result of this duel, Cedric is now complaining that he has to find another cleaner. I'll take care of your problem, I said and with the new cleaner the company is doing well.
