The Alpine Coach

In an apartment on the Rue St. Honore, in a Paris still stained with aristocratic blood, Clare Dubeque receives a strange offer from a mysterious Italian Principessa. The Principessa wants her great-granddaughter Linette kidnapped, to free her from a house of death, and brought home to Milan to claim her inheritance. The offer involves a large amount of money for the penniless Clare -- and an even larger amount of danger.

Clare suspects the Principessa's motives, and her worst suspicions are confirmed when she meets young Linette and her handsome, allegedly 'dying' father. But before she can reject the Principessa's offer, she is drawn into a much more perilous plot.
