Reading & Writing The Alphabet: A Book For All Ages: From 1-101.Tools Needed: Lined-Paper & Pencil Or Chalkboard & Chalk. It's never too early or too late to learn the fundamentals that lead to literacy. We are going to do the alphabet and by doing it we are going to learn it and how to use it. There are capital letters and lower-case letters and we will learn both of them. This is one of the first things we need to do when we begin attending school because it is the first step that leads to the ability to read and write and every human being should be able to read and write because this is the primary difference that separates the human beings from the animal kingdom, which then becomes a question for another vigorous debate: Has it done the human race any good: to be able to read and write?
