President Joseph Wright of the United States of America and Prime Minister Reginald Duckworth of Canada enter in to negotiations for the creation of a united North American ‘Tax Code’ and an amalgamated ‘Tax Administration’ in order respond, economically, to the other global economic unifications. These proposed measures were in response to the consolidated European Economic Community, the Middle East OPEC Cartel, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. The unified North American ‘Tax Code’ and ‘Tax Administration’ would result in an economic ‘superpower’, with open trading markets, abundant natural resources, unified manufacturing manpower, and marketing unmatched elsewhere in the world. With the election of the new American President Richard Rodgers, the theoretical economic juggernaut would go off its rail due to greed, power, and ego.
