It shows Aefre and Constantine each growing in different ways and it is the starting point of Aefre finally taking back control of her life after her torment at the hands of her Vampire sibling, Lance, and we also see Constantine's feelings grow ever deeper for his beloved and how he will go to any length necessary to keep her as just his. There are characters that threaten to come between them, but after more than one deceptive compromise, Aefre seemingly gets what she wants from her sire.
