The Adventures of Myke Phoenix

The year was 1995, more or less. The cold war was over, people were still allowed to smoke on the job, and 9/11 was still six years off. The universe shifted, and something dark burst from a yawning crack in the nature of being. Mankind needed a hero, and so there was a reason radio newsman Paul Phillips and his devoted girlfriend, Dana Dunsmore, walked into that antique store one stormy evening. By the time the night was over, he wasn't exactly Paul Phillips anymore - Myke Phoenix had been born!
