About This Book

Born in Palermo, Sicily, in 1883, Giuseppe Geovanni journeys to Rome at the age of ten to attend boarding school. His days are interspersed with a young boy named Bonita Mussolini, who will one day be the dictator of Italy and an ally of Adolf Hitler. Giuseppe’s dream is to go to America.

With his parents and a new wife in tow, Giuseppe makes his way to the country of his dreams. With an IQ of 170, he is a college professor at Boston University, speaks five languages and teaches math, at the young age of seventeen.

When America declares war on Germany, Giuseppe enlists in the U.S. Army in World War I and returns to Europe. His son, Gabriel fights in World War II and his grandson Gabe Jr. is a surgeon in a M.A.S.H. unit in the Vietnam War.

A devout believer in the Trinity, Giuseppe’s heart is broken when his grandson chooses not to believe in the 4th Element. Gabe Jr. doesn’t believe in the Trinity or any of those “fairy tales” he tells his beloved grandfather.

Journey with the Geovanni’s on their adventurous 1st, 2nd & 3rd elements of life and Giuseppe’s quest to prove the 4th element’s existence, as they climb life’s ladder in search of Heaven.
