The 13th Power

Ray Crawford, a nuclear physicist frustrated with obscurity and elusive fame, agrees to conduct the 13th Power experiments at Solartech Labs in Simi Valley, California. At stake: Presidential Directive Number 119, the technology for STAR WARS, a dangerous quest for a particle beam of unimaginable power. The Ark will stop at nothing to get it, including mass murder. Ray's place in history is close at hand. But when his estranged daughter returns after nineteen years, he must reassess his priorities.
