About This Book

A dark comedy on time travel, determinism, and the free-will paradox, "That Fated Shore, Exposition" has only three possible destinations for its main characters: dead, destitute or deranged. The book is set in Timefall, Kentucky, the international headquarters for Anachronistics, Incorporated. The company began suddenly on the claims that its CEO Melvin Balzer had invented a method for sending information backwards and forwards through time.

The first book in a trilogy, "That Fated Shore, Exposition" tells the tale of three individuals: a rotund account manager, a beautiful cocktail waitress, and a conceited courier. Their fates are never in doubt, but there are plenty of laughs to accompany their journey to oblivion.

As Cindy Wyneken--a Beta Reader--commented: "Phil Farrand's ability to spin an excellent yarn is in no way hampered by the fact that he is obviously clinically insane."
