After more than a year of hunting the terrorist mastermind who blew up Navy Pier in Chicago, Aeron Callahan is closing in on the man who can lead him to Mohammed Saif al-Din—and vindication. It's a simple plan...until it all goes to hell.

Callahan is a Ghost in the CIA's full-black special operations unit called "The Ghost Section." The cabal has spared no expense, hiring a team of elite former IRA soldiers to kill him.

But Callahan has other problems to deal with—Mohammed Saif al-Din is operational again and his next plot could destroy the US economy for months, if not years to come, sending an economic tsunami around the world. While trying to avoid the team of Irish assassins, he races to stop the attack, and close the book on the only operational failure of his career.

As time goes on, however, a startling revelation surfaces about the effects of his job on his health. A revelation that threatens everything he holds dear, including his relationship with the love of his life, fellow Ghost Samantha Clarke.
