Tender Remembrance

Nothing but death could ever separate Joel and Val Bennigan. They proclaimed those vows on their winter wedding day-nearly a year ago-and they'd meant every word.

But who could have predicted a near fatal automobile accident on a snow-slickened highway, or the terrible aftermath? While Val recalls most of her past, her painful childhood and her career as a journalist, she now exists in a world without any memories of the past two years or her marriage to a young minister and their life together.
