Tend the Light

The Wells family has tended the lighthouse on a remote Lake Superior peninsula for fifty-four years. It is expected that nineteen-year-old Lacey will want to carry on the family tradition, but what of all her girlhood dreams of life in a big city that teems with people, excitement...and a future?

The only connection Lacey's family has with the "outside world" is the supply boat that arrives every two months carrying the basic necessities of life and oil for the lighthouse. But during the harsh winters, not even the supply boat dares to take on the treacherous waters of the great lake.

One beautiful spring day, however, when the quiet and ruggedly handsome Travis Gates arrives on the boat, something stirs within Lacey, changing her life forever.
