Tenacity

The Barker family are becoming tired of the constant struggle to stay at the top of their game. They take a short break; confident that no rival firms will be audacious enough to make a move in their absence. They return relaxed and glad that there is no bad news to greet them, but within an hour of arriving home, they discover that somebody has been watching and waiting, ready to strike. Once again they are forced to step up and make an example of the person who planned the cowardly attack, and this time Marie Barker makes a decision which even her family have reservations about. What she plans to do is unheard of in the gangland world. She knows that it might be a step too far, but is willing to take that chance.
