Tears of the Gemini

The royal twin daughters of Highmere, Celia and Lucia are separated shortly after their birth, and grow up in very different situations, with their only thing in common being a single tear drop earring they each possess; thought to contain an enchantment of protection for the wearer. Celia, now known as Paige, is kidnapped and raised by thieves, forced to steal for survival in the dangerous city streets, while Lucia lives a miserable life in Highmere castle under the King's oppressive rule. When they learn of each other, the sisters escape from their difficult lives and begin a journey to free the people of Highmere from the King's tyranny, struggling through the hardships of war and betrayal.
