As fear of Pinnacle's next move against the populous reached its zenith, the self-proclaimed overlord of Resonance, Magnum, decided to strike back before the cretins played their hand. Refused support by the Joint Forces, Magnum planned a summit on the eve of spring at the JCU in Chicago to hatch a plan without scaling his efforts to an outright war. In the meantime, Fortune sent her own insurance, Caleb, to stall another catastrophe. Paris, she could rebuild, but thanks to Magnum's vocal exploits, Pinnacle will have all the opportunity in the world to bring the city down on top of him.
