Tears of Blue

It's been over a year since Emily escaped hell, but the nightmares and fear still hold her prisoner. No longer the girl she used to be, Emily closes herself off from the world until a wedding forces her out of her self-induced isolation and into the path of Spokane vice detective, Camden Shaw. On the verge of a career making bust, Camden is ready to celebrate more than his brother's pending nuptials. Putting his life on the line every day has taught him not to take a single moment for granted, especially not one spent with a beautiful woman, but he knows all too well the toll his job can take on a relationship. He prefers to keep things light and easy, avoiding all attachments and commitments, but the pretty blonde with the tortured blue eyes calls to something in him, tempting them both toward a future they'd given up on. When the bullets start flying, Camden has to figure out who's targeting him before the people he cares about get caught in the crossfire and Emily once again becomes a target for a madman.
