Tangled Rescue

Dakota is living through a slump.  People in Firebrook are more on edge than ever and she's only trying to force herself out of bed in the morning.  Something is wrong.  Or something is missing.  With all of her brothers and cousins mated, she's worried Fate has forgotten about her. For ten years, Kane had been searching.  He made a promise, and he's the only one who can fulfill it.  Would have been a lot easier if his sister had just told him everything.  Instead he had to track the kid another way.  Leading him straight to his mate.  A mate he doesn't trust and who doesn't trust him. That doesn't stop them from colliding, letting Fate play out her plan.  But an unexpected visitor shows up in Firebrook.  They're both running out of time unless they learn to trust despite the tangled past and secrets blocking their way.
