Taming the Iris

Sixteen-year-old Iris Weber is content spending her free time reading books from her father's personal library, churning out high grades in school, and avoiding the obnoxious in-crowd. Since her brother was murdered last year, the last thing on her mind is a boyfriend, but unfortunately that's the obsession of her best friend. And not just any boyfriend—Eric, the most popular guy in school. Iris reluctantly agrees to help Natasha get Eric's attention in a haunted forest, even after warnings from the tour guide. After the vengeful spirit kills Natasha for her crime, Iris knows she's next. Iris can't leave. There's school and her parents. The police are no help. And now another nightmare to tack onto her bedroom wall—her only hope in piecing together the clues lies with the one guy she despises, Eric, her best friend's crush. Figuring out the deadly pattern, Iris chooses to team up with the class favorite to fight for her life and for her best friend.
