Tamika Jade: The case of the Girl with the Rose Tattoo

Tamika Jade arrives in San Francisco in 1969 looking for a job and a man. She finds one, a job, working in a detective agency. When Derrick saunters into the agency she has her eye on the handsome tall drink of water with the chocolate body. Tamika thinks she has found the man of her dreams, but he wants her to find his girl, the one with the rose tatto on her thigh. Because Tamika is a businesswoman and she likes to eat, she accepts the job only to discover that it is not so easy. In her search for the girl with the rose tattoo, she is shot at, chased, cold-cocked, thrown out of a moving van, and she maybe on someone's hit list, but who and why?
