Jamie MacPherson had always dreamed of seeing the Highlands. She wanted to leave London forever and concentrate on her painting. Now that her uncle had died, she could claim her inheritance -- a cottage on the land of her kinsman, Ian MacPherson, Laird of Talbert Hall.
