Switched Awaken by War

Wisdom is a high school Junior who doesn't quite fit in at all, always wearing black and showing no interest in boys. Her best friend is a boy her age named Truth, who she has known since she was a baby. But Truth wants to be more than just friends. While he tries to figure out a way to tell Wisdom how he really feels, a strange new girl catches his attention.

This new girl, Jessica, is distant in her own right, hiding secrets of deadly invasion of her kind. After school, Wisdom catches Jessica looking up at the stars in a very peculiar way. When she confronts her and touches her, Wisdom is full of feelings of confusion, recognition, and danger that she has never felt. Both girls somehow know that the other is not the teenage girl she is pretending to be. Wisdom lives with a family of vampires, and Jessica is a highly trained military leader of an alien race who believes that humans do not deserve the planet that they are polluting. Wisdom must uncover the alien plot and figure out why Jessica is anticipating the clock to reach 8:00.
